The Place of Knowledge in a Dying World (Part Three)

THE HOPE ARMY – GIANTS ASSEMBLY (SUNDAY 15TH MARCH, 2020)

TEACHING SERIES: The Place of Knowledge in a Dying World (Part Three).
Focus: Sources of Knowledge
READING: John 8:32.

EXCERPT FROM PREVIOUS ASSEMBLY (08.03.2020):
*The day you stop learning, you begin to die.
*As you grow in knowledge, you will naturally grow in dominion.
*Not all prisoners are in physical chains and behind bars.
*The greatest prison is a stagnated soul; the greatest barrenness is the barrenness of the mind.
*Yes we are going to change the world, but you have no place in that agenda if you fail to be tirelessly committed to aggressive and purposeful self-development.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
#The Word (John 1:1-5).
*The Word of God is God Himself. Everything God has to offer is contained in His Word.
*What the Word of God cannot do, God cannot do. Everything God has ever done, is doing, and will ever do is by His Word.
*The Word of God is the only way God relates to man. The Word carries the power and might of God.
*The Word of God is the transmitter of divine nature.
*When you receive the Word, believe it, and act on it, you become it.

*Every Word of God is a carrier of the creative power of God. “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3).
*A wordless Christian has no place in God’s end time army.
*Your success as a Christian is dependent on your depth of knowledge in the Word of God.
*Similarly, your inheritance in life is at the mercy of your knowledge of what accrues to you in the Word of God.
*This is why one of the greatest investments you can make into destiny is a tireless quest for knowledge by the Word of God.
*Your most valued asset in life must be the Word of God.

*The rise of an army of giants this end time for instance, is essentially a function of knowledge, and we have seen it in the lives of individuals on the platform of personal and prayerful pursuit of light in the pages of scriptures.
*What you know is what makes you known. Just one Word from God can turn your life around 360 degrees. If you are looking for God, look for His Word. Once you have found the Word, then you have found God.
*There are two fundamental dimensions of the Word: Logos – The Written Word; and Rhema – The Living (Revealed) Word.
*The written words are the letters across the pages of Scriptures. The living word is the Spirit behind those letters. The Spirit behind the Word is what produces results.

*That is why in the Christian life, experience and fruits to show differ from person to person. The letter in itself kills (2 Corinthians 3:6).
*Hence, it becomes disastrous to see, read, or study the Holy Bible as a mere poem, history, or one of the story books.
*Our God is a Spirit-Being, and every acceptable service to Him must be done in the Spirit realm (John 4:23-24, John 6:63).
*Therefore, it is only with your spiritual eyes that you can appropriate the capabilities of the Word of God on your behalf. *Encounter with the Living Word through the written words is the same thing we call an encounter with power (Hebrews 4:12).
*We also recognize from Scriptures that the Word of God is a spiritual mirror through which we see ourselves (2 Corinthians 3:18).
To be continued…

PRAYER: Father, teach me to be a tireless explorer of relevant knowledge, in the name of Jesus.
